These include public driver of vehicles, public driver, ordinary driver, and public vehicle driver.
According to the new amendments, the establishment will be required to choose a driver for one of the following specific activities: “Locomotive, train, metro, motorcycle, car, private car, taxi, ambulance, mini truck, valet parking, bus, tram, heavy truck, gas truck, trailer truck, cement mixer, garbage truck, farm tractor, heavy equipment, and forklift.
Qiwa has canceled the following professions from the platform: Doctor, expert, specialist, engineer, specialized expert, control technician, worker, and ordinary worker.
It stipulated that these professions be placed in specialized professions according to the Saudi Standard Classification of Occupations. The amendment will be limited to the Qiwa platform for the workers of establishments only, and not to platform for individuals.
Qiwa also pointed out that the approval of the employee is required for a change in his profession and the fee for the change of profession is SR2,000.
But there is an exemption in the payment of this fee for the change of the eight professions of which the change is considered as ‘correction’ of professions that have been canceled.
The change of these professions under ‘correction’ will be allowed only once without fees, and when the worker wants to correct it for a second time, he must choose a profession of which the change of service is chargeable.
